Adjusting the release mechanism while securing a 25 mm strap is surprisingly smooth—no jamming mid-tighten. Solid click when it locks, and the female side accepts it cleanly. Exactly what I needed for a custom utility bag project.

Rebuilt the chest strap on my hiking pack with these and the 25 mm fit is spot on, no wobble at all. The side release clicks in solid and stays put even when the pack's loaded heavy. Way sturdier than the flimsy stock buckle I replaced.

Swapped these onto my backpack straps and the 25 mm webbing fits perfectly without slipping. The side release clicks in solid and the adjuster actually holds tension under load.
